Nidhi (IIT Roorkee 03) has led the Marketing and Programs team of IIT Bay Area Alumni Association in the term 2020-22. She defined and executed programs and marketing strategies to deliver value and drive engagement in over 15,000 IIT-Alumni in the Bay Area and massive IIT community across the globe. Nidhi has been in the technology industry for 15 years. She has built and evangelized products that derive core value of technology for enterprise customer base. Currently she is working to redefine the security portfolio of AWS End-User Computing. She is a builder-at-heart and passionate about anything she does. Her industry knowledge and expertise in security, range from enterprise applications, cloud security to hardware system design and security at the chip-level. In addition to IIT Bay Area and AWS, she is also a featured speaker at Product School and contributor at CIS Benchmarks.

Arnab (IIT Kharagpur 83) is an entrepreneur, business leader, mentor and advisor. He comes with more than 35 years of experience in growing companies from scratch to global business with unique value propositions. He founded Enterprise Software & Services Business in 1998 and served as its CEO for 20 years. He took the organization to new heights, leading it to a successful acquisition. Over the last few years, Arnab has also been mentoring and advising multiple startups to help them get started and grow their business. Arnab’s wisdom and decades of experience will tremendously help IIT Bay Area Alumni Association grow to the next level and serve a broader segment of the IIT Bay Area Community.

Lochan Alagh (IIT Roorkee 13) has been serving the IIT Bay Area Alumni Association for years. She has been the Board Member of IIT Bay Area Alumni Association in term 2020-22 serving as Social Media Lead, Volunteer Lead, lead for highly successful Book Club monthly event. Lochan has also greatly contributed to IIT Bay Area programs and marketing and brought in key speakers to the Leadership Conference. Lochan is the Executive Director at FalconX, an accelerator for B2B startups that nurtures innovation through mentorship, investments, and customer connections. At FalconX, she is spearheading strategic partnerships with accelerators globally, helping global startups to establish footprints in Silicon Valley. She is also the Vice President of IIT Roorkee Alumni Association (Bay Area Chapter) serving IIT Alumni and helping to build a stronger community. Prior to FalconX, Lochan led Business Strategy and Operation at a fast-growing startup Cloud Harmonics before it was acquired by Ingram Micro. Lochan is also associated with nonprofits like Overseas Volunteer for a Better India that is working towards eliminating water poverty in India & New Leaders Council that recruits & trains young progressives and equips them to be civic leaders. Lochan will continue to serve the IIT Bay Area Alumni Association as Board Member and Secretary in term 2022-24.

Rao Charagondla (IIT Kanpur '93) has been serving the  IIT community for years. In the board term 2020-22. Rao served as Treasurer of IIT Bay Area Alumni Association. Rao has managed the overall budget, donations and all transactions of the corporation. Rao works for Adobe and is a current member of Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. He has decades of experience in the technology industry and contributes to multiple other organizations in the field of health, technology and social services such as LSS and Highland Oaks community. Rao will continue to serve the IIT Bay Area Alumni Association as Board Member in term 2022-24.

Ashis (IIT Kharagpur) is the CEO of UnifyTwin, an Industry 5.0 technology company, providing AI-powered digital workflow with contextualized insights from IT, OT, IOT, digital twin, carbon emission data for frontline workers in manufacturing, construction and renewable energy companies. Ashis has 25+ years of experience in leading revenue generation in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development roles. Ashis had earlier worked at Relayr (a Munich Re company), Larsen & Toubro (L&T), TelASIC/MTI. Ashis has been serving the IIT Bay Area community for the past six years. His most recent contribution was at IIT Bay Area leadership conference 2021, where he supported the programs team with his insights on content and speakers. With his passion to deliver well-structured, high-quality and valuable content, Ashis is passionate about bringing in a broad perspective and building quality programs to serve the IIT Bay Area Alumni Community.

Ishita is an IIT Kharagpur alum, an entrepreneur and angel investor in healthcare startups. She has decades of experience in the technology industry. She is currently the Vice President, Product  at TCG Digital responsible for their Insurtech platform and previously their advanced data analytics platform. Ishita is passionate about the application of technology in healthcare. She has been actively involved in several initiatives including tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.  Ishita has been supporting the IIT community for the past twenty years and has also been part of other non profits organizations in the field of technology, social impact, and healthcare. Ishita has served the IIT Bay Area Alumni Association as the Vice President in board term 2020-22, has led multiple successful events, runs a health series event and assisted with multiple Leadership Conference functions across the board. Being detail oriented, she has the ability to effectively define, keep track and deliver on commitments made to IIT Bay Area Sponsors.

Bidyut Parruck is Board Member of the IIT Bay Area Alumni as well as President-elect at IIT Startups. He is an IIT Kharagpur alumnus and veteran of many successful startups such as Azanda, CoreEl, Cortina Systems, Roambee, and TranSwitch. Having co-chaired cohorts 5 and 6 for IIT startups he has intimate knowledge of struggles of entrepreneurs trying to get companies off to a good start.

Dharmesh Jani is entrepreneur and business leader with 20+ years of strategic leadership experience. He has led high-value projects to success in organizations ranging from startups to large corporations. With his strategic thinking, ability to lead business objectives to the finish line and impressive communication skills, he will be a great addition to the IIT Bay Area team to assist with marketing initiatives.

Dipty Desai is an IIT Bay Area Board Member. Dipty is an expert in high impact healthcare solutions utilizing technology and innovation to transform and save lives. She has been involved in executing strategies for effective cross-border growth across sectors including healthcare. Dipty has held multiple leadership roles across organizations driving massive business and community efforts. Venture Partner at Elevate.vc, co-chair at TiE Global Health and most recently convener at TiECon 2021.

Manoj is an entrepreneur, angel investor, advisor to several tech startups, and founding board member of  IIT Startups USA (iitstartups.org) and IIT Roorkee Heritage Foundation USA (iitrhf.org) 

 

He has led product marketing teams at Apple, Cisco, and HP Enterprise, and also managed a seed stage VC fund. He did his BE Mechanical from Univ. of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) in 1981, MS CS from Syracuse Univ. in 1984, and MBA from Haas UC Berkeley in 1990.

Prakash Linga is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor. His passion for the human aspects of security has powered multiple startups and game-changing products. Prior to BluBracket, Prakash was the Chief Technology & Product Officer and Co-Founder of Vera Security, which was acquired by HelpSystems in 2020. He also served as CTO and Co-Founder at RAPsphere, acquired by AppSense in 2012. Prakash received his PhD from Cornell University and earned his Bachelors from IIT Madras, both in Computer Science.  Prakash will serve the IIT Bay Area Community by setting strategic direction of growth and innovation in service tools, connect us to investors for raising funds and bring in contacts for key speakers.

Anshu Agarwal was the CEO and Co-founder of Nimbella, a serverless cloud platform company. Nimbella was acquired by DigitalOcean in 2021 and she is currently the General Manager for Serverless business.Prior to founding Nimbella, she was CMO and VP of Product at Cedexis. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the OpenDaylight Project, promoting the adoption of an open-source software-defined networking (SDN)platform. She has led product and marketing teams at four infrastructure startups: Cedexis (acquired by Citrix, 2018), ConteXtream (acquired by HPE, 2015), Ankeena Networks (acquired by Juniper Networks, 2010), and Speedera Networks (acquired by Akamai, 2005). Anshu holds a B.S. in Electronics from IIT/Roorkee, India; an M.S. in Electrical from Rutgers, New Jersey; and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Illinois.

Swapnil Sinvhal (IIT Roorkee, 1999) brings a wealth of experience and passion to the organization. She has held multiple engineering leadership roles in India, Singapore and in the California Bay Area. She is currently Director of Software Development at Oracle and has been serving the IIT Community in the Bay Area for years. She was the President of the IIT Roorkee Alumni Association of North America, Bay Area Chapter from 2013 to 2016 and has successfully led multiple IIT initiatives with her seasoned marketing skills.

Prince is a software developer currently working at Google. He has been in the technology industry for almost a decade. Prince is IIT Roorkee alumni (2012) and holds a Masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Along with his passion for learning new technologies, he is passionate about serving the community. He has been engaged in serving multiple volunteer communities including IIT Bay Area and Qualcomm Volunteer Initiative. Prince has successfully led efforts at IIT Bay Area Leadership Conference 2021 for Leadership Conference Speakers Coordination, Website readiness and all technical coordination required for Connect tool development. Given his technical expertise and ability to work across teams, he will be great to continue leading website development and technical aspects of Connect tool. Prince will also be great in building a strong volunteer team to help scale the IIT Bay Area team

Hrishikesh Sathawane (IIT Bombay, 1997) Hrishikesh led all communications and efforts for raising funds and sponsorships. Along with his focus on strategic business growth, Hrishikesh has also been an active contributor to the human rights community.
