Kartik Kilachand is the CEO & Co-Founder of World BPO/ITO Forum, the leading interface platform in the US for enabling vendor/client interaction in the ‘offshoring’ domain for mid – large cap companies. Mr. Kilachand is on the Board of the South- South Innovation Summit and also the CEO & Co-Founder of Magnus Gyan, a US based technology company formed to spread knowledge to under-priveleged youth in growth economies. He has also initiated a social entrepreneurship venture in India www.head-held-high.com to provide training to 1 million underprivileged youth in rural India to learn English and basic BPO skills (data entry, digitizing of records, scanning etc.) so they can be employed in Village BPO centers. He is also the co-founder of ‘Tasty Bite’, currently the #1 brand of ready to eat Indian & Thai food in the US. One of the other well known ventures he partnered with was with ‘Sycamore Networks’, a leading US optical networking company, in helping it start its Indian operations, ‘Tejas Networks’ – currently India’s #1 optical networking product and solutions company. With a B.Tech from IIT Bombay, Mr. Kilachand holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University; an MBA from U.C. Berkeley & an Advanced Management Program degree from INSEAD, France.
